About the Opportunity
Flippa is growing and our growth is powered by our sales team. We’re looking for a sales-focused individual to join the team. The SDR is responsible for qualifying inbound marketing generated leads and converting those leads into business listings. You will be assigned leads in a defined geography. You will work with business owners to help them understand Flippa. You will discover opportunities by qualifying the business and presenting the Flippa solution.
This position will be based in the Philippines working closely with our existing sales team.
As an SDR at Flippa, you’ll get to -
- Win new listings to the Flippa platform which drives GMV
- Educate Flippa clients and grow existing marketplace, leading to growth of our small business customer base
- Build strong relationships with our Advisory Team through strategic partnership and handover
- Enrich the Flippa experience of our clients through thought leadership and continuous education on how to grow their practice and leverage Flippa
- Directly add value by meeting the listings won monthly targets - this ensures Flippa has high-quality businesses advertised for sale on Flippa’s marketplace
- Discover legitimacy and readiness to sell for each inbound lead
- Manage a pipeline of working leads and follow up as required by Flippa published SLA’s
- Generate growth in pipeline of qualified opportunities through the use of call activity, emails, and virtual meetings
- Immediately respond to all inbound leads
- Conduct video calls to demonstrate the Flippa service to qualified end user customers/prospects
- Follow-up on all activities
- Utilize sales enablement tools such as Hubspot, Metabase, and other automation tools
- Input, update and maintain CRM records on each account and opportunity for assigned area(s)
- Ensure you maintain a high level of activity and account hygiene in our CRM.
- Weekly forecast meetings and updates
- Knowledge of the Flippa service and continued training and maintenance of the skill-set
- Attend daily team meetings, weekly virtual company-wide meetings, and virtual meetings ad-hoc
What Success looks like -
- Meeting monthly targets on revenue and listings live on Flippa
- Qualify and call 50+ inbound marketing generated leads daily
- Meeting weekly KPI measurements such as phone calls and meetings.
- 80%+ of your communication with customers and partners will be via phone
- Meeting 34+ live listings monthly (100% to goal target)
What you bring to the table -
- Experience working with and selling to small business customers
- Prior experience working with a team that is being built from the ground up
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Working knowledge of a CRM, Excel and other productivity tools as needed.
- Prior work experience as a salesperson converting over the phone
- You are a quick learner who can work effectively in an ever-changing startup environment
- You are proactive and have excellent time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of comfort talking to customers/buyers of all levels
- You are an ambitious, motivated, self-starter who is constantly seeking professional growth and development.
