We are seeking a Broker based in Melbourne, reporting to the Regional Director, APAC, to manage a portfolio of sellers across the region and drive high-value business exits.

About the Opportunity
As a Flippa Broker, you will manage the entire sales journey for your portfolio of sellers: qualifying buyers, facilitating discovery and negotiation calls, and guiding business owners to successful exits. You’ll be a trusted advisor, orchestrating every stage of the process, from preparation and positioning to deal close, while collaborating with Marketing to drive visibility and demand for your listings.

You will actively prospect and secure new business, engage high-intent buyers, coordinate legal and transactional workflows, and provide strategic advice to ensure smooth, profitable outcomes. This role also includes face-to-face interactions and travel (approx. 20%), representing Flippa at conferences, client meetings, and regional events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales process for your portfolio of sellers across APAC, from qualifying buyers to deal close.
  • Manage and grow your seller portfolio, supporting them through preparation, positioning, and sale execution.
  • Drive buyer demand, partnering with Marketing to promote listings to Flippa’s global buyer community.
  • Provide strategic guidance throughout the transaction process, removing friction and ensuring seamless outcomes.
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities, converting leads into listings and deals.
  • Engage strategically with buyers, building credibility with repeat buyers, institutional investors, and strategic acquirers.
  • Conduct valuation-driven analysis of client metrics and P&Ls to provide informed seller guidance.
  • Coordinate legal and transactional workflows (LOIs, APAs, SPAs) and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Support post-sale success, gathering feedback and connecting sellers with Marketing for case studies.
  • Travel (~20%) to meet buyers and sellers, attend events, and represent Flippa externally.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and contribute to ad hoc initiatives that drive business impact.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record in services, tech, or digital marketplaces, with demonstrable deal-closing success
  • Experience in M&A, brokering, or business transactions is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of small business sales or digital asset transactions is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field highly regarded
  • Strong relationship-building skills, over phone and in-person
  • Results-driven, independent, highly organized, and entrepreneurial
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to market changes
  • Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and awareness of profitability and deal value
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presenting persuasively to stakeholders
  • Motivated team player with a strong work ethic and self-starter attitude
  • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, thriving in a growing startup
  • Interest in digital products, online marketplaces, and digital business exits
